Online pucharsing agreement

We understand that purchasing anything online can be a little scary, which is why we wanted to make sure everything is outlined, so that you feel more informed before you make your decision. If you have any other questions after reading this agreement, please don’t hesitate to email us at hello@devocouturier.com

 1. Sizing & Alterations

1.1 You (the Customer) are aware that Devo Couturier gowns are NOT made to measure. Each gown and separate are made to order and it your responsibility to take your measurements correctly and use our Sizing Chart to choose your size accordingly. If you are in between sizes, we suggest going up a size since it can easily be altered.

1.2 You have read and understood the sizing chart and how to take your measurements.

1.3 You understand that if you have had the help of a stylist to determine the best size for your body, it is still your responsibility to use the sizing chart and guide to order the correct size.

1.4 You understand that once your order has been confirmed you cannot change the size of your gown as the gown goes in to production as soon as Devo Couturier receives and confirms the order.

1.5 You understand that your gown may need alterations (including the hem being shortened) to get the perfect fit and that is not the responsibility of Devo Couturier. You also understand that you need to allow sufficient time for alterations before your wedding date. Choosing an alterations specialist near you is best and encouraged.

2. Payments, Time Frame & Ordering

2.1 You understand that each Devo Couturier gown is made to order and that it takes a minimum of 3 months to make each gown and that 2 months starts once you have paid the 50% deposit and your size and length have been chosen.

2.2 You understand that you will need to pay for your dress or separate in full before the item is sent to you. You understand that if you need to pay off your dress in instalments you have to email us on hello@devocouturier.com and this has to first be approved by Devo Couturier.

2.3 You have read the Devo Couturier Ordering & Delivery page and understand that you need to allow the appropriate amount of time for delivery and allow for unforeseen circumstances that may slow down the delivery process.

2.4 You understand that you must pay a 50% deposit of the total amount of your order including postage to complete the order for my dress.

2.5 You understand that the remaining 50% needs to be paid before your gown and/or accessories are shipped.

3. Fabrics & Imperfections

3.1 You understand that all Devo Couturier gowns are handmade from luxury fabrics.

3.2 You understand that luxury fabrics easily pull and while every care is taken to prevent this, sometimes very minor pulls may occur in the fabric and this will not be considered a fault by Devo Couturier.

3.3 You understand that silk is a natural fibre and therefore may have slight imperfections in the fabric, that are not faults. These imperfections are simply natural occurrences due to the nature of silk and only make your dress more special.

4. Returns & Exchanges

4.1 You have read and understand the Devo Couturier Made-on-Order Policy.
